Belly Flab be gone! The last weight loss program you will ever need !

Let’s start from the beginning…We have primarily 2 choices ! We can change our diets completely to extremely stringent ones. Most Weight watchers programs including the one I named and others like Jenny Craig, etc. have you counting calories or purchasing their meal plans. Most of the time, it works for a while till the novelty or cravings take over or the food really S$@ks !!

Now you add exercise- cardio and strength training to this- and you feel like your winning, at least at the beginning. You have no motivation and get tired of going to the gym after a long days’ work ! Like a New Years resolution, it looses its ability to keep you on the new path when the sparkle fades, and it fails. Along with that, pounds come right back on with vengeance as you binge eat all those calories you just missed out on !

I’ll take one of each thanks !

And now the Other Choice…I’ve found something you may have heard about lately, and its Completely different from anything else you’ve seen. Which is why it works and why I’m using it ! Have to share. The main reason most don’t succeed with the meal and exercise plans above, is that it is the “same ole same ole” thing. Nothing new there ! Along with that is the fact that it doesn’t change the root of the problem we have with losing weight. What’s is the Root you ask ? It is psychological in nature and until we address this, we’re doomed to repeat our old habits once the pizzaz wears off !

What Is It ?????? Ok, I’ll tell you.

Noom: The Last Weight Loss Program You’ll Ever Need

I joined myself as I was getting frustrated with the YO-YO diets ! I had a wonderful trip to go on and wanted to look slim and tone in my little black dress !! But who was I kidding! Especially when we reach a certain age, so many things change! Besides gravity pulling at us, our hormones take a nose-dive and weight begins to pack on easily. Agh !!

Noom goes beyond the typical: ” Here’s the food you can eat, the exercise you should do, and come back and we’ll weigh you. ” It takes into account the whole of you including what makes you do what you do, and what you shouldn’t do, when it comes to loosing weight. Quick fixes are a thing of the past. Too much rebound ! Behavior change is what makes it stick. And they are Excellent at that ! You’ll also be glad to hear in 2017, Noom’s program received full recognition by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)

Learn more and get a FREE trial:

Here are some reasons I recommend Noom’s program:

  1. Easy to use App- everything you need to succeed all on your smart phone or tablet.
  2. 1 on 1 coaching- you will get a personal coach that is with you all the way and a support group !
  3. Noom has proven results- studied and proven to work.
  4. Individual plan- not a one size fits all plan. It’s tailored specifically for you.
  5. Forever weight loss- you will learn the skills you need to keep the weight off for good.

One really great thing is Noom doesn’t require you to avoid food choices. They provide everything you need to succeed with their coaching, group support, and tracking tools that make the process a lot simpler ! As you see, it’s not just you against the world !

So aggravating ! Damn tape measure !

FREE 14 day trial ! What do you have to lose ? Hehe ! Weight !

Some of Noom’s teachings- Lose the belly:

  1. Watch your carbs
  2. Eat on time- Dinner should be at least 3 hours before bed
  3. Drink plenty of water- a MUST
  4. Have smaller portions
  5. Get out and walk
  6. Eat Hi-Fiber foods
  7. Try organic
  8. Lots of green vegetables
  9. Cruciferous veggies
  10. Add coconut oil seaweed, turmeric, nuts, berries, avocado, beans

Foods to ease up on:

  1. Beverages such as fruit juice, soda, smoothies and sports drinks ( They add unwanted calories )
  2. Drop the white bread ( offers no nutritional value ) Try whole wheat or nutty breads instead. White is low on fiber, high in carbs, and leads to blood sugar spikes.
  3. Fast food is part of whats making Americans and others FAT ! It’s on-the-go peoples these are targeted to. Don’t do it !!
  4. Processed snacks add sugar, trans fats, high fructose corn syrup, hydrogenate oils, artificial flavors, preservatives, and addictives.

Some examples-Flat Belly Diet Plan:

Breakfast:

2 slices whole wheat bread, 1 banana, 1 tbsp peanut butter, green tea

Morning Snack ( Yes you can have one ! ):

1 container Greek yogurt, fruit

Lunch:

Salad greens topped with 2 slices of turkey or tuna-no mayonnaise, 1 slice provolone cheese, 1 hard boiled egg, veggies, 2 tbsp light dressing

Dinner:

Grilled chicken breast, 1 sweet potato, baked, 1 cup quinoa salad or other

Dessert ( You must enjoy dessert ):

1 Skinny cow or other Weight watchers Fudge bar

Snacks:

15 almonds, 1/2 cup frozen grapes, berries, celery sticks

Breakfast and lunch

So Many Good for You Choices-Scroll away !!!!!

Bet you didn’t know this ! Sip Tea for a tighter belly:

Why I chose NOOM and you should take a free peek:

The problem I’ve encountered with other diets is being given a list of foods choices and left to your own devices. Most don’t create the habits they need and fall back to what’s comfortable. I’ve seen this with friends and family as well. So much money they’ve spent only to regain the weight shortly after. If you want to make a more permanent change, I trust this can be done through a program like Noom that is dedicated to giving you everything you need to succeed ( Including your 1-on1 coach- I love that! ) It’s not a diet but a life-long result. And they’ve proved it over and over ! I’m already seeing results ! No cost free trial: https://noom.8utb.net/c/2543810/711640/8591

      Hello,

There are many that don’t see the positives of the internet space. There is a balance of course and real life and family are so so important. We learn a great deal from others viewpoints. So glad your mind is open to hear new things. Minds and parachutes don’t work well unless they’re open!

First off I want to say excellent blog! I had a quick question which I’d like to ask if
you do not mind. I was interested to know how you center yourself and clear your thoughts
before writing. I have had a tough time clearing my thoughts in getting my thoughts out.
I truly do take pleasure in writing however it just seems like the first 10 to 15 minutes
tend to be wasted simply just trying to figure out how to begin. Any recommendations or hints?
    Appreciate it!

    • freedomafter50club

      Hi,

It isn’t easy to clear your thoughts if you’re having a stressful day, no doubt. I find I get insights for ideas that I want to write about when I’m going about my day. I make sure I jot them down instantly as you can’t trust it to memory. The day has a habit of wiping the slate clean very quickly ! Once the days tasks are done, I revisit it. It saves me time that way.

      Good luck,
      Tina

You really make it seem so easy with your presentation but I find this topic to be actually something that I think I would never
understand. It seems too complex and extremely broad for
me. I’m looking forward for your next post, I’ll try to

    • freedomafter50club

      Hello,

There are so many weight loss plans and with most of them honestly many fail as they really didn’t commit themselves completely. Like a New Years Eve resolution, most have that ambition to try it but don’t pursue. The habit hasn’t been formed unless you make the commitment, practice it longer than 90 days and form the habit. I’m glad you joined us in this blog and let me know if there are other subjects you are wanting more info on.

      See you soon,
      Tina
